This is because it's a part of daily life to twist and turn while you're holding things or moving in awkward positions. Think of getting out of your car, putting your child in their high chair, or simply looking behind you. All of these rotations are common movements, yet that’s exactly where calisthenics tends to fall short: the vast majority of calisthenics exercises are in the sagittal plane, involving little to no rotation of the spine. That’s why I made this video. I wanted to show you all some ideas I’ve used to occasionally add spinal rotation to the basic calisthenics. If you include these in your workouts, along with some light mobility work on the spine, you'll notice a huge functional benefit to all the twisting and turning in your daily life. I hope you enjoy the video! ▶ MY WORKOUT APP: bit.ly/3qtIUv9 ▶ CALISTHENICS GEAR: Use MINUS10 for 10% OFF!
