Description: Discord: discord.com/invite/taVwEWtUX5 Brothers Make: youtube.com/c/BrothersMake Vic Poolin: youtube.com/c/VictorPoulin Veritasium: youtube.com/c/veritasium roughly 10,000 tons of plastic waste ends up in the ocean every year. That’s the weight equivalent of 2,000 full-size male African elephants or 7,142 average-sized cars… that’s a lot of plastic! So for today's experiment, we wanted to see if we could make use of some plastic waste and create a real working boomerang from plastic waste we collect from around LA. For this experiment, we’re specifically looking for the number 2 on the recycling scale. This indicates that the material is HDPE or High-Density Polyethylene. What other things can we make with recycled plastic? Let us know what you think!
