Description: Hey guys! I am planing to release a couple of *DRUMS ONLY videos from now on. I will upload them as an extra for you besides the video with the original track. Let's start with Swandive from Dutch Metal Band TEXTURES. Watch the Video with the track: youtu.be/UaVSG9pIIf0 I dont know if many of you know TEXTURES from the Netherlands but their first album "Polars" is one of my all-time favorite albums. Its complex, creative, inspiring and raw as it should be. All of their songs are a challenge to play. This one is pretty easy for their standards but it still has many tricky patterns and the tempo is change constantly. In fact I think they recorded the whole album without click. Stef Broks is a maniac behind the drums. Such progressive flow and tasty arrangement. Sadly Textures is not active anymore but you should check them out if you haven't already. This video was recorded in September 2020 and mixed by me. I am not a professional sound engineer but I wanted a realistic and honest drum sound. That is why you have only a little bit of trigger on the kicks. The rest is without any extra sample layers underneath. I hope you enjoy it!
