This homemade milling machine can also be used as a surface planner and thats what this ideas hase come from. As recently we have been working on live river edge floating shelves and got stucked in the middles ass we needed a drum sanding machine to flatten the surface of the boards. So this manual milling machine is made out of aluminium tubes and MDF sheet. For the router we have used an inrunner brushless motor and all the axis are driven by using geared DC motors.
