Description: To order customized PCBs for your projects: nextpcb.com In this video we are going to redo the conversion on our bicyle using a powerful brushless motor while replacing the old geared DC motor. Earlier we have converted our bicycle using a geared DC motor, though the conversion was sucessful and we were able to get thing rolling but still the top speed and the torque provided by the DC geared motor was miserable. So we decided to step up the game and eventually we come up with the idea of using a brushless motor from an old hoverboard and some high discharge lithium pollymer batteries to give this bike a puch of power. The conversion was stright forward as we tried to eleminate as many unwanted parts as possible during the process and thus we were able to achieve a top end speed of nearly 40 km/hr (The bike is surely able to get double that but the speed controller we had was able to handle only six cell lipo pack) and the torque was phenominal, seriously wheelies on the go.
