Description: We dug out the "first ever Quran video on youtube" for you. This video explains my methodology to find it. The first video on youtube "Me at the Zoo" by Jawed Karim is known to many. I am sure many can name the top 10 most viewed videos on youtube (mostly music videos) but I'm convinced very few, if any, knows what the first Quran video on youtube was. There is a video about "The OLDEST Quran Recitation Recording in the World", which was captured in Makkah in 1885. This video is inspired by that idea. These kinds of videos holds a special place in our history. Youtube is here to stay and is becoming the collective record of human activity on earth. Youtube and videos on youtube are being used for evidence in court cases and also to corroborate claims when patenting inventions and ideas. Youtube has become the first and primary source of education for a majority of the human population. Youtube is the collective "history of mankind". I hope we can maintain this history for coming generations. This video presents our findings about the question in the title. We present our methodology in detail. The key is "how to search on google" effectively with filters. Advanced Searching on youtube itself is limited and finding old or deleted videos through youtube search is impossible now. Please make sure to watch the whole video so you don't miss fine points. It is possible there are ones before the one discussed and its possible some were deleted or got removed when like old channels were terminated. It might be possible to dig up more information through the way back machine (archive.org). Some people have suggested that "Me at the zoo" wasn't the First YouTube Video. However, the videos they suggest came earlier are no longer present. So we have to go by what is present and not what "was" uploaded. Islam and the Quran was not a popular subject on youtube in its earlier days. It appears that the only real source to be sure if there were earlier Quran videos is if someone has first knowledge.
