These chords all have two fingers in the same spot which makes this one of the easiest songs on guitar. We go over some switching tips so that you can memorize this chord progression fast and then we practice smooth accurate chord switching with our easy four chord progression. This song uses a longer strumming pattern but it's very simple. We break it down into three parts, we practice each part separately and then we put it all together in a step by step way. With our chord shapes and our progression, we can play through the verse. The thing about this song is that every section uses the same progression. Once you've learned the verse, you've also learned the chorus and every other part except for the breakdown. The breakdown is just half of our chord progression. E minor and C so it's even easier! We practice it and then we discuss putting the whole song together.
