Description: Yamaha's latest generation of AVENTAGE receivers have updated YPAO (Yamaha Parametric room Acoustic Optimizer) with their new Low Frequency mode that finds the problematic room bass modal frequencies so you can go and manually adjust the PEQ filters to flatten out the bass and improve the response. In this video, I go over my calibration results with in-room REW acoustical measurements and listening results. I offer suggestion tips and tweaks of YPAO to get the best sound out of your home theater. There are some critical settings I suggest that can make or break the calibration results so you'll want to pay close attention to try these out in your system.
