Description: Very few facemasks are disposed of properly, through biohazard containers. With 330 million americans wearing facemasks, if they disposed of three per week, there would be one billion facemasks filling landfills weekly - few of which are properly disposed as biohazardous materials. A better alternative may be the face shield- as they protect the eyes, and can be disinfected daily. Plus, as they are non-pourous, the virus cannot move through the barrier. (Below it, yes, but that would supposedly be covered by standing a distance apart from others). I welcome your comments below.
