Description: 2000 years old? This is old growth Redwood sent to me by a subscriber and friend. I received it back in 2019, and kept it in a visible location in my woodshop. I saw it every time I entered the door, and wanted to do the right thing by it, so I didn't rush the creativity. This week, as I walked into the shop, I saw it and knew what I wanted to do. A simple yet elegant design using the center, while preserving the gnarly natural edges for another project for the future. Thank you for the gift of this ancient wood, Danella Barnes-Penman!
