Description: I got a request for a wood cane so I figured I'd share the process and mistakes with you. This wood cane is made in white oak and mahogany. It is laminated with 5 layers to make it stronger. I will be putting a rubber bottom on the cane. The first cane I tried to make i used can hardware that threads into each end of the cane handle and arm. I could not get the hardware to go in with out cracking the wood, maybe I should have put in the hardware before cutting out the handle but I'm glad it broken on me and not the person using it.
