Description: Hoping this is actually ASMR, if it isn't please let me know! Just a soothing video of life at home with the wolfdogs and Nymeria. You can absolutely see where on the floor I thought would be out of frame for the camera and consequently stopped cleaning :) Doug is a probably-wolfdog (we haven't done his DNA test yet and don't know his lineage, but based on phenotype, behavior, and the little history we do know we suspect he has some wolf content) whose luxurious coat requires daily brushing. He doesn't blow his coat like wolfdogs usually do, but instead sheds constantly. It's been really great for my nearly all-black wardrobe, our vacuum, and lint roller stock. In order to be able to brush him without it being distressing I usually will do brushies during relaxing cuddle times so that he knows that it's a form of affection and care. I reinforce those facts by talking annoyingly to him throughout in baby talk. Also, I'm a dog owner so I talk in baby talk to them constantly anyways because are you really a dog owner if you don't sound really goofy when you're alone with your dogs? In this video you also see Indigo looking unamused in the background and Nymeria walking into frame. Indigo is a 47% F2 wolfdog (DNA and lineage verified, video coming hopefully soon!) and Nymeria is a pitbull. They're all extremely good doggies. I honestly think I'm too old to fully get ASMR but I've been told by a very trusted source that this qualifies. I don't want to ruin anyone's ASMR experience so truly please tell me if this shouldn't be tagged ASMR and I'll update. Stay healthy, wear a mask, and pet all the doggies!
