Description: Willie Smits sends his greetings from Indonesia where he talks about his newest project Temboan (place with a wide view). Smits is transforming degraded grassland back into a healthy jungle using permaculture techniques like swales and a focus on restoring the watershed and coral habitats. The goal is to use sustainable agriculture to build a new agro-forest (or should that be agro-jungle?) where humans and nature can work together to repair the landscape.
