Description: Merriam-Webster defines “pen pal” as “a friend made and kept through correspondence”, “a person (such as someone in a foreign country) who you exchange letters with even though you have never met”, or “a friend known only through letter writing”. The first known use of the term "pen pal" was in 1925. I’ve been wondering the past few days if it’s worth having a pen pal in the year 2020. I think I’d like to find out.
