This is where dedicated control panels come in with grading functions mapped, to buttons, knobs and wheels. While I won't dismiss their merit and speed, however a tool you're already expert at using is being overlooked. What if there was a grading tool with hotkeys (similar to Photoshop) that enables you to switch tools... ...and a grading interface that lets you grade in the viewer with simple point and click dragging up and down on a trackpad/mouse?
