Description: Today I wanted to explain why I removed the stock Battery disconnect and install one that I prefer. The original style doesn't cut power to everything and was easy to bump and turn off. This newer style is easy to use and I don't have to worry about bumping it and turning the DC power off. The battery disconnect is great to use when you need to work on the system to change something or when storing the RV. It should remove all loads from the battery so it won't have a small draw draining the battery. Nobody wants a dead battery.
