Description: On 24th of February 2022, Russian soldiers invaded Ukraine after months of training exercises along the Russian border and in neighbouring Belarus. After 8 years of tension following the removal of pro-Russian President Yanukovych and the subsequent annexation of Crimea, Vladimir Putin finally risked open war with Ukraine and ostracisation from the West. This left everyone begging the question of; why? What led Putin to risk everything by invading Ukraine? This is a collaboration video with fellow Youtuber Aditya Rathore, whose channel looks at geo-politics and Socio- economic issues. Together we’ll be trying to answer that question by looking at several factors we believe influenced his decision making.
