Like cancer, we all hate cancer, but if you get it, it's personal. Counterfeiting happened to me. I invented a photographic lighting device that wound up becoming an international success, that generated over $100 million in retail sales since I invented it about fifteen years ago. Nothing made me quite as sick as seeing a complete knockoff of my product that took over 80% of my sales. Any promotional advertising I did made some guy in China a lot of money.
