Description: Wayseekers were a type of Jedi we’ve currently only seen in the High Republic era, when the Jedi Order was more flexible about its mandates and its members. Wayseekers chose to operate outside of the Jedi Council to truly follow the Force wherever they felt it was calling them. Sometimes it made sense, like simply solitary meditation. Sometimes it meant fighting with planetary revolutions against tyrannical rulers. And once it meant becoming a pop star on Alderaan. Yeah. A Jedi became a minor pop star. Some members of the Order looked down on Wayseekers because they felt they were granted too much freedom, and who’s to say whether or not the Force is truly calling a Jedi to do any of these things.
