The logic gates are very basic building blocks of digital systems. The logic gates are electronic circuit that consists of one or more inputs and one output. The relation between the input and output is based on certain logic. With the help of the logic gates, it is possible to perform different Boolean operations. Types of Logic Gates: AND, OR and NOT gate are three very basic logic gates. Using these three gates, it is possible to implement any Boolean function. NAND and NOR are universal logic gates because using any of the two gates alone it is possible to implement any Boolean function. Apart from that, there is an XOR and XNOR gate.
