Description: Question: What is Gaper Day? Answer: Well? Whatever you want it to be. Gaper Day is one of our favorite family traditions. We dress up, ski like goofballs and celebrate the end of the winter season. History says that it started as "Clown Day" in many North American ski resorts. Some say it was locals and ski resort workers dressing up and poking fun at the ski tourists they deal with all year. To me is just that greatest way to express gratitude for a great winter and welcome springtime. This kind of fun and horseplay just makes me smile and it is so great to be with my awesome family. It usually happen on April 1st and some call it the April Fool's day of the mountains. The video features footage from 2018 and 2019.
