Description: It is always an absolutely wonderful time cutting open incredible rocks and fossils! In this video, we are cutting open the Florida state stone: agatized coral. These wonderful little geodes also glow under a UV light, revealing beautiful agate banding that is normally invisible to the naked eye (or very faint). These are some of my favorite invertebrate fossils to collect since they are both a fossil and a mineral specimen in one.
