Description: In this video I show you how I use Blender 3D to layout a basic scene and why I think it can be a great tool for your comics. I cover how edge loops can be an effective way to quickly trim out a building as well as the Array Modifier to generate the windows. Using Blender can help you layout perspective quickly and allow you to experiment with camera angles. I plan on modeling more of my scenes for my Blackstone Comic to improve the overall quality and help with the creative process. Blender is a free open source program that is insanely powerful. I am excited to learn Blender and share more videos with you along the way. Let me know what else you want to see and I will do my best to create the content. Here are some of the shortcuts that I was trying to remember in this video! My apologies for fumbling along the way! Keep in mind I am using a Mac so these may be different on a PC - Ctrl + A = Apply Scale Ctrl + R = Add Edge Loop ( Scroll Mouse Wheel for Additional Loops ) Shift + D = Duplicate Object Hold Shift + Double Click = Select Edge Loop Thank you for watching and please LIKE - SHARE - SUBSCRIBE!
