Description: US Army Paratroopers Descend Into The Arctic - Exercise Spartan Pegasus 2017 Paratroopers with U.S. Army Alaska’s 4th Infantry Brigade Combat Team (Airborne), 25th Infantry Division, descend to the ground under T-11 parachute canopies during Exercise Spartan Pegasus Feb. 24, 2015, at Deadhorse, Alaska. The extremely cold demonstration in airborne operations and arctic mobility took place in one of the northern-most territories of Alaska, well north of the Earth’s Arctic Circle. Spartan Pegasus allows USARAK the ability to maximize training resources across multiple units to maintain readiness in a wide array of mission sets across the Arctic and Pacific region.
