Description: Shirts: giovanniesoriginals.com My mom taught me to be the perfect gentleman. Treat women with respect, open doors, pull seats, dress nice and make them feel special. But that didn't prepare me for the way that women would treat me. I went out on a date with one girl, I dressed up similar to this painting with a rose in my hand, where we agreed to dress nice, had me drive an hour away to meet, made me wait an hour in a parking lot just to come in sweats and cut our "date" short because her friend was having boyfriend troubles. I had asked another girl out on a date. We agreed to a date, I prepared myself two days before buying a single rose, messaged her again as a courtesy if the date was still on with no response, the next day I tried to reach her but was blocked with no reason given. The rose I bought ended up dying. I went to a wedding where I would meet this girl just so she could end up kissing a guy across the room even though we came together. I was broken, confused, depressed. Then I met someone different. Even though I didn't have myself figured out she accepted me and accepted that single rose. Patience paid off. This painting means a lot to me. It's a visual representation of my efforts, pain and emptiness I felt. I call it "Unwanted". The biggest fear people have is feeling vulnerable but I'm here opening up to you. To tell you that no, the guy doesn't have to do ANYTHING to the girl in order to be treated this way.
