Description: Have you ever looked at a menu at Barista, Cafe Coffee Day or Starbucks and wondered what all those coffee names mean? This video explains various types of coffee with the help of an infographic. Espresso coffee drinks are made with a Cappuccino machine and share 3 common ingredients: Espresso, Steamed Milk and Foam. Types of Coffee mentioned in this video: Espresso is made by forcing a very small amount of very hot water through finely ground coffee beans. Caffe Latte is Italian for milk coffee. It consists of one-third espresso, two-thirds heated milk and just about one centimetre of milk foam. Cappuccino is probably the most popular coffee around the world and has one-third espresso, one-third steamed milk, and one-third wet foamed milk. Espresso Macchiato is mostly espresso, marked with a small amount of steamed milk and foam for those who love a rich, bold taste. Espresso con Panna, which means "espresso with cream" in Italian, is a single or double shot of espresso topped with whipped cream. Stretto is a very “short” shot of espresso coffee and Ristretto is concentrated espresso. Americano is Espresso with hot water. As the story goes, American G.I.s would dilute espresso during world war 2, by adding hot water to it, thus the name Americano. If you add hot water first and then add Espresso, it will be Long Black. The cafe lungo is similar to a Caffè Americano or a long black. However, instead of adding water to an espresso, the water is brewed. Flat white is similar to Latte but has less froth and milk than a latte. A café mocha has one-third espresso and two-thirds steamed milk with a portion of chocolate syrup. Caffè Marocchino is made from espresso, steamed milk, and a dusting of cocoa powder. Types of Cold Coffee: Frappé is a foam-covered, iced coffee drink, made from, spray-dried instant coffee. Freddo Espresso is a foam-covered iced coffee made from espresso. Granita Con Panna has frozen espresso with whipped cream. Alcohol-based Coffee: Irish Coffee is a cocktail consisting of hot coffee, Irish whiskey, and sugar, stirred and topped with cream. Corretto consists of a shot of espresso with a small amount of brandy. More: Which Country invented it: youtu.be/p3r2DOOIxp0 Guess the Countries from 4-Pics: youtu.be/YBIhs4elWyQ
