Description: CSX Military Train In Front Of Me While Norfolk Southern Mixed Freight Passes Behind Me! I got another army train with 2 DPUs working hard! This cool railroad crossing has CSX and Norfolk Southern Railroad with a railroad maintenance of way area in the middle. These trains are in Walton, Kentucky at one of my favourite Railfan locations. I heard the CSX train approaching on 161.370 and didn't know the first part of the train was military until it got to me. While that train was passing I head the NS train behind me approaching the crossing so I had to figure out how to film both trains passing. Norfolk Southern uses 160.950 here as their main frequency. The NS track is the Rat Hole Line owned by Cincinnati and runs from Cincinnati to Chattanooga, Tennessee. The CSX line is the Short Line and runs from Cincinnati to Louisville, Kentucky. I don't know anything about the military vehicles except that I was told they came from Lima, Ohio. I think it was pretty cool to be in the middle of two trains passing at the same time.
