Description: Top 3 Workout Mistakes you should AVOID | Nate Bower Fitness 3 Tips, especially if you're going to the gym and this new year, if you want to be a better version of yourself. 👉 Workout Mistake Number 01- Too Much Too Soon: Workout is supposed to be good for you, but too much workout too soon can have serious consequences for your body and brain. Over-exerting yourself could actually undo the results you worked hard to get, and worse, could damage your heart and arteries, lead to injuries, and make you addicted. What happens if I exercise too much too fast? Excruciating muscle pain that does not resolve over time. Muscle swelling with limitations in movement. Nausea or vomiting, or both. -------------------------------------------- Nate Bower Fitness inks here: linktr.ee/natebowerfitness Join this channel to get access to Elevated Workouts and member perks: youtube.com/channel/UCa9_TpiSkqYwcr35uh5N7Og/join -------------------------------------------- 👉 Workout Mistake Number 02 - Avoid Overtraining: To prevent overtraining, schedule regular rest days after long or demanding workouts. Take a break from targeting a muscle group for 1 or 2 days if you do weight or resistance training. At the same time, don't allow for too much time to lapse between workout sessions. Have a rest period during your workout. What happens if I workout too much? Too much exercise can lead to injuries, exhaustion, and depression. It can also cause lasting physical harm. Your adrenal gland, pumping out hormones as you pound the pavement, can only produce so much cortisol at a time. 👉 Workout Mistake Number 03 - Don't Change Your Workout Routine: When you use the same muscles repetitively in the exact same way, you make injury likely. Without time to heal, the micro-tears in your muscles never properly regenerate with new fibers. Is a workout routine necessary? Having a workout routine will make building momentum and consistency in your training. You'll also want to keep a routine when you're ironing out any weaknesses or imbalances in your training. The takeaway is that a routine is beneficial when you need more consistency and structure in your training. -------------------------------------------- Follow Nate Bower Official Website: natebowerfitness.com Instagram: instagram.com/natebowerfitness Facebook: facebook.com/natebowerfitness Twitter: twitter.com/nbfitness -------------------------------------------- About Nate Bower: Nate Bower is a certified PTS, boxing instructor, personal trainer, and competitive athlete in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
