Description: When it comes to mass shootings, thoughts and prayers aren't enough. After the horrific shooting at Pulse in Orlando, there was an immediate outpouring of support on social media. But we've been through this before: after Newtown and Aurora and Virginia Tech and Charleston and San Bernardino and so on...politicians send their thoughts and prayers to victims and their families when they should really be enacting common sense gun control laws. And it's no wonder, considering that so many of them have been bought by gun lobby groups like the NRP. Well no more. I've had enough of politicians piggybacking on the memories of shooting victims for their own personal gain. I've had enough of the platitudes, and a lot of you are too. That's why I think it's high time to #MakeThemPay. If politicians want to use the names of shooting victims, they should have to fork over every dollar they've received from gun groups. They say talk is cheap...well not now. I highly encourage you to follow your elected representatives on social media and then go to opensecrets.org to see if they've been receiving any gun money. If so, make sure you let them know how much they owe, and #MakeThemPay. Also, make sure you stay tuned to the end for an important update.
