Description: This is me, charlez360, playing my new song “Those Eyes” on the tenor saxophone! About a month ago, I posted a video called “tropical sax” where I was just messing around on this beat that I had made. The feedback from you guys was so overwhelming and strong that I decided to make it into a song. I took some of the comments and the feedback from you guys and created something that I find very pleasing to the ear. Specifically, YouTube user @Dolph recommended that I add a repeating, catchy line in there, which I did. It took the song to the next level!! I constructed this beat first by playing the electric guitar and messing around with a few licks. I’ve been wanting to make a tropical track for a few months now and decided to create a tropical beat behind what I had played on electric guitar. Of course, the beat needed some PHAT bass, so I added that next. The pizzicato strings and lighter synths were a nice finishing touch to create a chorus-like effect. The beat was all ready for sax.
