Description: Taking the law into your own hands. California has a three foot law to protect cyclists from being hit. Until recently, It could only be enforced if an officer sees the violation and chooses to act. Even when cyclists are hit and killed, police choose not to cite because the guilt is assumed to be more punishment than a cyclist is worth(less).
