Description: This is impressive! This is a non-fishing episode that Graeme filmed recently while working with TA Outdoors and tree surgeon specialist Ryan at Mike's new woodland. A huge Ash tree had been blown down in a storm, so rather than waste this prime piece of English timber they called in the services of Ryan the tree surgeon with a special giant chainsaw and apparatus that can be set to "mill" either planks, giants sheets or even 4-inch square posts out of the timber. Then they send Ryan up a dead tree they had previously topped for safety measures, but left it as a giant monolith...an ideal place to put a Raptor nest hoping to entice in either a Buzzard or Red Kite...It’s amazing how Ryan climbs right to the top using his climbing equipment and sets up the new nest. Only a short film, but there might be some out there who never knew what you could do to get material from a dead tree...Enjoy.
