Now some fans blame poorly timed injuries as one of the main reasons for Finn Balor not being pushed like the big star he could have been, where as others blame Vince McMahon for simply feeling like Finn Balor was too generic and bland to be a top star for the WWE, and possibly too old as well! Although many were hoping 2022 would be a potentially great year for Finn Balor, especially following his United States Title win, that notion has clearly been proven otherwise, as Finn Balor just lost his United States Championship to Austin Theory or not just "Theory" on Monday Night Raw this week after having a truly uneventful and downright pointless seeming US Title reign, and this moment has really solidified it in many fans minds that Finn Balor is essentially done in WWE, and nothing is going to change regarding the WWE's stance on Finn nor will he be pushed like a main eventer ever again, especially now that Finn Balor's 40. It seems more and more likely that Finn Balor will be walking away from WWE in the near future or even flat out getting released from the company, with Finn then possibly finishing off his career in another wrestling company like AEW or NJPW which would definitely utilize Finn's talents much better than WWE has.
