Well, the answer is that I've finally come to terms with the realization that Youtube isn't a good place to be doing what I've been doing, and that it isn't liable to become that place any time in the future. I have four pages of analysis on the issue. What works on Youtube, how to do it, why working harder than Youtube's bare minimum quality standard is actually more of a setback in the average case. But at the end of the day, the takeaway is that to survive on Youtube, you need to be independently success AWAY from Youtube. It's a fool's errand to try to build an original idea on the website if you're not willing to dip into some really unsavory practices. So I started drawing a comic. It started as art practice, but don't get me wrong there's a story motivating the madness of Stebe Boy Hotdog. And aside from that, Pencils was already working on a comic and Copy is starting one that's much more conventionally written. We will still do Youtube content from time to time, but based on past history I imagine viewership will continue to fall, and CPM will decline with each passing year at all. It might be possible to increase viewership by tapping into someone else's IP, but that's not really what I want to do. The legality of all that is pretty questionable. It's a site for vlogs and little else these days. If we ever want to grow again, something has to change, and we need to start producing work for another place!
