I still use sketchbooks for certain things, but the fact that I now have an ipad changed my sketch game a lot because I do my thumbnails and preparatory drawings there now! I don't have anything against sketchbooks, but unless you do it yourself finding the right watercolor sketchbooks is so so difficult! So I decided to stop using them and now I prefere to directly use loose paper! I like doing bookbinding, but it's not time effective and I was finding myself painting on loose paper anyway so I decided to use this system!
