Description: So many folks say their dogs attack or bite "with no signs." Everybody is waiting for the growl, but we have worked with thousands of dogs who do not growl before an attack. There are many other obvious signs to the trained eye to watch out for. It can something as small as a stare. In this video, i point out most of the tells before a dog demonstrates inappropriate behavior. This moment we talk about so often is called "loading", when the dog is THINKING about attacking. That's also when we apply our corrections. We stop the dog in its tracks prior to the dangerous behavior. If you wait too long, the dog will explode and you will miss a training opportunity, or worse, the dog will make contact and cause harm. Sometimes these cues are super subtle, other times they are very obvious. That's why it's important to know your dog and to understand the body language. We talk about dog socialization a lot, but it's hard to give advice over the internet without seeing it through either video or in person. There are so many variables, but I wanted to show you just a few things to look out for.
