Description: "curb videos" have been a thing since the mid 2000s, the premise is that you limit yourself to one location (usually a simple curb) and try and be as inventive as possible. Being limited to a simple location means you really need to think outside the box and people have done some fantastic riding in the past. For this video I wanted to try the same idea except on this fallen tree that I've ridden a few times before. Locking the camera in one location and limiting myself with no correction hops forced my creative side and challenged me more than I ever thought possible! It's no lie when I say that this video was probably the toughest and most exhausting video I've made yet! Each pulled trick probably took hundreds of attempts and by the end of the day(s) I felt physically sick and was getting delirious, I took a weeks rest afterwards and typing this a week and a half later I can still feel my sore muscles! I think it was worth it though, perhaps it's not the most exciting video for some viewers but I'm genuinely proud of my riding in this one. Street trials riders these days are quite often very predictable, either foot jam whipping, tyre tapping or fake nose rolling in every clip, I'm trying to avoid these usual tricks and make it difficult to predict what I'm going to do next.
