Description: St Daniel's Church stands on a hill overlooking the town of Pembroke. Legend tells of a well or spring either in or near the church, which for many years was a site of pilgrimage, due it its alleged healing and restorative properties. The well was allegedly destroyed in the 16th century, but this is water that fell on the Preseli mountains thousands of years ago, rising under pressure. There's no stopping that. It's going to come out somewhere. The hillside and surrounding area, have many springs fed from the same source, though. It's somewhat baffling why their respective magical properties would differ, one from the other. See the other videos in the playlist for more stories, history, folklore, legends, and hauntings in the area.
