Description: The saga of what has come to be known as the Enfield Monster, or Horror, took place in Enfield Illinois, in 1973. Like many of the musty corridors of Fortean lore, this particular flap leaves more questions than answers, and the explanations range from the likely, to the impossible. If nothing else, this tale goes to show that sometimes, the accepted explanations are just as perplexing as the alternative.
