Description: In this video, I share my simple & tasty recipe for Curried Chicken with Pigeon Peas! I learned this by watching the best cook I know, my mom! I'm happy to share this recipe with you today. Happy cooking! Ingredients- • 4 ½ lb chicken- roasted, cut, cleaned and washed with white vinegar/flour/lime/lemon • 4 teaspoons of salt • 2 teaspoon of black pepper • ½ cup of Caribbean green seasoning • 3-5 curry/karipillay leaves • 1 ½ tablespoons of oil • 1 onion, chopped • 10-15 cloves of garlic, minced • Hot peppers and seasoning peppers (your preference) • 4-6 sprigs of thyme • 1 ½ tablespoons of curry powder + 2 teaspoons of turmeric powder + 2 teaspoons of roasted ground geera + 2 teaspoons of black amchar masala • 1 14 oz package (1 ¾ cups) of frozen pigeon peas (or fresh if you have access to it), boiled for 15 minutes • 2-3 cups of boiling water to make the sauce • 2-3 chive, scallions or green onion, chopped • ¼ cup of cilantro, chopped Subscribe: goo.gl/A6ob1C Most recent video: goo.gl/DHsTND Like, Subscribe and leave me Comments- I want to hear from you!
