My first attempt at making this tune into an acapella arrangement had wayyy more vocal tracks than this. I realized that, even though I had fun stacking tons of extra harmonies, this song feels best the way Koji Kondo composed it; minimal and chill. Since the Winter Solstice just hit for us in the northern hemisphere and the days are extremely short, I felt this song very fitting for such a cold and sleepy time of year âť„ I based the final version of this arrangement, especially the ending, off of a nice piano version.
