Description: Huge Railroad Trestle Towering Over The City & Street Running Trestle On 13th Street! These Trains Are In Kenova, West Virginia On The Norfolk Southern Main Line. 2 Trains and a hi rail truck are seen passing over the giant railroad bridge that starts in Ohio, crosses the Ohio River and then runs down the middle of 13th Street in Kenova, West Virginia. This bridge also crosses over CSX and Norfolk Southern tracks at both ends of the bridge over the city of Kenova. Kenova is between Huntington, West Virginia and Catlettsburg, Kentucky. I have posted a few other videos from this area in the past few months including some filmed during a winter weather advisory. The day that this video was filmed we had perfect weather. This video also shows a locomotive running long hood forward pulling a covered hopper car under the bridge. I heard that train coming and I was a little surprised that it was just a short local switching train coming back from doing some switching by the river. It was still interesting to look down on the train. Amtrak also passes under the bridge but it passed through a short time before we got here. There are other frequencies in use for switching and talking to the dispatcher, however, they are not necessary for tracking train movements.
