Description: My first camping trip of 2021 has finally arrived! It felt so good to be back out sleeping in the outdoors. On this trip I just enjoyed myself, made a super comfy camp, and had a relaxing time. My bed was extremely comfortable. It composed of spruce boughs, a foam sleep pad, and two wool blankets. One of the comfiest bushcraft beds I've ever slept in. My meals were both pretty simple. For dinner a bbq bacon burger that was grilled on sticks over a bed of coals. No need for those tiny metal bushcraft grills in my camp. I'll be doing more stick grilling in the future to see what can be done with a grill made of sticks. My breakfast was a honey oat cake. I made the recipe up myself just from messing around with ingredients at home. I ended up making my fire too hot though and the oat cake began to burn. I saved it from being inedible, but it fell apart in the pan and didn't turn out how it usually does. I'll redo this recipe another time to redeem myself. All in all it was a fantastic trip.
