The spider-man eye frames also have magnets to them, which allows for a very easy application and removal of the eyes. The removable eyes offer great comfort when wearing the spider man costume/mask plus it makes it possible to easily replace the lenses. For the movies of spiderman replacing the eyes was very important so that they could adjust the lenses according to the light on the set. My spiderman costume lenses are exactly like the standard lenses were made for the movie. They are a combination of hand-made convex lenses with airbrush shadowed mesh behind and some anti-fog lenses behind that. I have allowed the lenses to be easily replaceable, this way the one wearing the spiderman suit can experiment with different lens inserts, like mirrored or airbrushed lenses. Most likely they used these kind of lenses for the film as well.
