Description: Hey guys! Today I want to address a serious issue. Yesterday I received an email saying that one of my videos on YouTube got claimed. I immediately went to YouTube and saw that my "Evolution of DJVI" video (youtu.be/YJiT9XsS5V8) had received a content id claim because someone had copyright claimed one of my my own songs. It turned out that some artist called DJ Sergiofiguras had stolen my own song "Elemelons" (youtu.be/-83wtSkN5kQ) and renamed it to "The Ferral" and now claimed my video which features the song. As you may imagine I'm currently very upset because of this. This is simply unacceptable. I released Elemelons over 5 years ago and now someone just simply decided to stole it and claim it as it would be their own! I can't believe that these kind of things can still happen so easily. My music have been stolen before and I know this is happening to other artists too. For example, couple of years ago one of TheFatRat's songs got claimed and his whole channel got taken down for a moment. Eventually he managed to get it back but how can this happen to even well known artists? I hope this thing will get sorted out quickly. I contacted the music distributor that this person used to distribute and claim the song on YouTube. Now I'm waiting for their response. The whole copyright system should be improved to prevent these kind of things from happening. Anyway thanks for your support guys.
