Description: After a few weeks trying to figure out how water was getting inside my haltech ecu I finally decided to crack down on the issue and found it was the craziest thing at fault! The coolant sensor was actually cracked, allowing water to leak out of it. Since the wiring harness is completely sealed water had nowhere to go but up the cable all the way inside the ecu. Causing all king of electrical interference between all the connections on the ecu terminal. After fixing that I decided it was time to enable the launch control (2 step launch control) and bring the car to Ace cafe for the crazy monthly import meet. I will be taking the bmw to Freedom Factory tomorrow Feb 4 to their soft opening car show. If you are in town be sure to head that way so you wont miss out on all the fun!
