Description: This week I've massively upgraded my indie virtual production studio to have a Vicon Optical Motion Capture system. You can think of this as a VERY high end Steam VR system for tracking humans, props, and cameras. PRICING: this "INDIE" Vicon system is ball park $50K US. There are smaller configurations as well. My first goal is to get the best LIVE MetaHuman performance capture I can in Unreal Engine. After that I'd like to test out their camera tracking pipeline for green screen virtual production in Unreal Engine.
