Description: Saheb Bibi Golam is a novel written by Bimal Mitra. It has been adapted into a movie starring Meena Kumari as the leading character Chhoti Bahu along with Guru Dutt and Rehman. Before the turn of the 19th century, some landlords of colonial Bengal lead a fast life preferring the gaiety of professional women to the beauty and devotion of their own wives, how a spirited young wife rebels and takes drastic steps to put things right is the theme of the movie.
