This helps charge the RV batteries more effectively because it will charge in multiple stages and deliver the optimal voltage. It's a great addition to take control of charging your batteries and can save your alternator when you switch to lithium batteries. If we had a Class A, Class C, or Class B, this is an upgrade I would do at the same time as switching over to lithium.
