Description: It has been a difficult number of months for Cherry and me as we have lost our best friend. Maple and Cherry were so close, It has been hard for her. I've begun playing the guitar for Cherry every night as the music helps to soothe her. It took many months before I could pick up and play the instrument again without tears, as for the past 12+ years I've only played with Maple by my side. Music is healing, and through working on this tribute for Maple I've felt my heart begin to heal, and I'm able to focus on remembering all the magical moments we spent together over the years. The theme from the film Coco, Remember Me, resonated with me on a deep level, and I wanted to play it in memory of Maple. I know Maple would want us to be happy as we remember her, she would always try to lick away my tears when I was sad. You were a good girl, Maple. I will always remember you. I love you Maple.
